    George is going through a ‘virility crisis’ and desperately wants to be ‘with it’ and have an affair with much younger Jane, especially on Wednesday evenings. His wife, Clare, is worried about his vestless chest and suspicious of the flowers and six phone calls to say he may be late home, and confides in her friend Ruth, a local newspaper ‘Agony Aunt’. Things get complicated when Jane’s boyfriend, Nick, somehow passes himself off as George’s psychiatrist, and sets about consoling Clare. The arrival of Jane’s father sets off a chain of mistaken identities and a hilarious game of make-believe. You have to see it to believe it.
