Who’s Deadly Sin?

This murder/mystery takes place in the ancestral home of a famous young actress, Veronica Hayley, whose “accidental” death on her opening night is highly suspicious. Was her spinster sister in law Phyllis involved. Is the killer Veronica’s charming, devious, new husband Alistair? Her vulnerable half-sister Charmaine? Her attractive and ambitious understudy Delia? Her sexy maid Sue?” Or perhaps Basil, the sinister old butler, did actually do it this time? Inspector Weston is up to his neck in mystery, intrigue, and romance. There are certainly plenty of suspects for a puzzled police inspector to sort out in the heady world of the professional stage. Sergeant Neal, the Inspector’s sidekick, observant and deceptively laid back, is busily supportive and often amusing.
