- Notes: Terry Pratchett takes Shakespears Machbeth, throws in a smattering of Sleeping Beauty and in Pythoness style, turns it up ’till the knob drops off. Its all there. A wicked Duke and duchess, the ghost of the murdered king, dim soldiers, strolling players and of course 3 witches, who are the key to restoring harmony to the kingdom of Lancre. A land currently in peril. Its like a springtims panto with grit. Stephen Briggs adaptation of Terry Pratchetts fantasy is one not to be missed
