- Our society has been performing musicals, concerts and shows in the community for many years. We rehearse every Thursday in Blackwood Miner’s Institute in Blackwood, South Wales. We are always looking for new members, so if you would like to try something new and enjoy singing and acting, come along and join us! We have just finished our run of Oklahoma! the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. Next season we are performing RSC’s Wizard of Oz.
