<description>Hi Everyone Please see our latest show - James &amp; The Giant
Peach - 3rd &amp; 4th December 2010. ”Marvellous magical things,
what marvellous things they can do!” Ahoy me hearties! Join James
and his marvellous friends for a fizz-whizzler of an adventure, as
Stage 27 take you on Roald Dahl’s magical journey through
excitement, danger &amp; fun….in a very big Peach. After being
orphaned by a rhinoceros, poor old James is sent to live with his
revolting Aunt Spiker &amp; Aunt Sponge. Filled with loneliness
&amp; treated like a slave, James meets a mysterious old man, who
gives him a bag containing the most marvellous magic in the world.
When James accidentally spills the magic in the garden, marvellous
things begin to happen…. James gets the chance to escape on the
voyage of a lifetime - along with some charming gigantic insect
friends to share it with! Join James for his perilously-Peachy
adventure across treacherous oceans and come to the show dressed as
a fabulous fish or ingenious Insect! Take a swim in the sea to save
Centipede, or spin a web with Miss Spider! James would be very
pleased to see you! Stage 27 invites you to join them for Festive
Fun as they perform ‘James &amp; The Giant Peach’ (adapted by David
Wood) at Acocks Green Methodist Church on Friday 3rd &amp; Saturday
4th December 2010 at 7.30pm (Saturday 4th Matinee at 2pm).
Performances are suitable for children &amp; adults alike, and we
encourage the children (or perhaps even the adults) to come along
dressed as their favourite character! Doors open at 7pm &amp;
tickets are priced at £5 / £15 per family ticket. For advanced
purchase tickets, please call the Stage 27 Box Office on 0758 063
7862, leaving a name, contact details and ticket request. This will
be a voicemail service, but the Ticket Manager will contact you
directly to confirm ticket purchases. Alternatively, ticket
requests can be emailing to stage27@hotmail.co.uk. Further
information can be found by visiting www.stage27.org.uk or by
emailing us at the address given. (Please note that tickets on the

27 recognises the need to raise awareness &amp; help for local
charities, and is happy to work with the NSPCC. There will be
