The Edward Alderton Theatre
The Edward Alderton Theatre is a non-professional theatre situated in Bexleyheath, Kent. It is publicly licensed, and produces six shows a year plus a number of one-off specials. Fiercely proud of its tradition of producing high quality productions that could rival some commercial provincial theatres, the Edward Alderton continues to successfully blend a challenging mix of well known plays alongside though-provoking pieces that one would not normally expect to see on a non-professional stage.
The Theatre has a raked auditorium seating seventy four, a fully licenced bar, toilets, a full sound system capable of delivering four chanels from 6 independent sources, a full lighting rig with ability to be operated manually or run over 100 presets, dressing rooms and free on site parking.
The Theatre has a social evening every Wednesday from 9.00pm onwards and welcomes all new members regardless of age, race, gender or sexuality.
