Make A Song And Dance About Asthma
Putting Asthma in the Limelight is back for a second year!
From 1 – 9 May we are asking people to join together for lime themed fundraising fun and awareness to raise vital funds for the 1.1 million children in the UK with asthma. We are also asking people to get behind our campaign to encourage everyone with asthma to take control by having a personal asthma action plan.
Following the success of Putting Asthma in the Limelight in 2009, we are asking you to put yourself in the limelight again for our national fundraising week. We want people to make a real song and dance about asthma and help raise funds for our lifesaving work.
Whether you are a budding song star, dancing queen or lime is your favourite colour, there are plenty of ways you can get involved. Why not host a performance, organise a collection after a show, sell lime iced cakes in the interval or even host an X factor style night of your own? This year with the help of our supporters Lucky Voice we are also offering something extra special. On World Asthma Day, Tuesday 4 May, you can take part in the Asthma UK Big Sing Song – the UK’s biggest karaoke party!
