Most of the original characters are still in the script, but I have introduced several new ones to reflect present day society. The show can be viewed on two levels - children will probably see it differently to the grown ups! It&rsquo;s full of action, fun and makes a good alternative to traditional pantomime. There is scope for you to add in well known Christmas songs if you so wish.<br /><br />This play has just been rewritten to take into account how much our lives have changed over the last few years. The plot is basically the same but I have taken out some of the characters and replaced them with new ones to reflect on what is happening just now.<br /><br />We have Sergeant Sam, who is based on Action Man, but unfortunately he is a pacifist and would rather have been a fairy.<br /><br />The Fairy gets bored hanging around waiting to go down to earth on Christmas Eve so she flies away and gets herself into danger and trouble. Teddy is a football hooligan, Jade is a doll, who is also a hooligan and, if she were a real girl, would most definitely have an ASBO to her name. Another new character is a gentle doll who tries to calm down not just the quarrelsome toys, but also a very stressed out Santa who is worried because his order of snow hasn&rsquo;t arrived. He is now forced to learn how to use a computer and order his weather with the new Controller of the Weather. Mrs Witchell is an unpleasant woman, upsets and hates everybody and is given a bad nightmare by Dreamy. She wakes up in Santa&rsquo;s departure lounge and causes havoc. Of course, in the best traditions of pantomimes, there is a very happy ending and you will then discovered why Mrs Witchell was so horrid! The show is entertaining for both adults and children and can have musical inserts if the Director so wishes. </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2"> <img src="images/go_to_top.gif" style="border-width: 0px;" /> <b class="ProductDetailHeading">Cast Summary</b><br /><br /> Witch Who Hated Christmas, 2nd Edition: 9M 10F + 2 either<br /> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2"> <img src="images/go_to_top.gif" style="border-width: 0px;" /> <b class="ProductDetailHeading">Testimonials</b><br /><br /> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2"> <img title="Back to Top" src="images/go_to_top.gif" style="border-width: 0px;" /> <b class="ProductDetailHeading">Specifications</b><br /><br /> <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tbody><tr> <td style="width: 90px;">Format: </td> <td>Paperback </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Pages: </td> <td>81 </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Dimensions: </td> <td>A5 (148mm width x 210mm height) </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Publisher: </td> <td>Jasper Publishing </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Published: </td> <td>2006 </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Language: </td> <td>English </td> </tr> <tr> <td>ISBN: </td> <td>1 904416 77 2 </td> </tr> </tbody></table> </td> </tr> </tbody></table> <img src="images/square_icon.gif" border="0" />&nbsp;<a href="Index.html">Home</a>&nbsp; <img src="images/square_icon.gif" border="0" />&nbsp;<a href="http://www.jasperpublishing.com/">Ajax website</a>&nbsp; <img src="images/square_icon.gif" border="0" />&nbsp;<a href="http://www.jasperpublishing.com/NonAjax/">NonAjax website</a>&nbsp; <br /><br /> </td> <td> </td> </tr> </table> </body> </html>
