Betty Blue Eyes

Pettswood Operatic Society are proud to present our spring production of ‘Betty Blue Eyes’, showing at the Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks from the 11th- 13th of May 7.45pm and 2.30 pm (Saturday matinee).

It’s 1947 and belts are being tightened across the country as the long-suffering citizens are promised fair shares for all. Amid rationing and a cold winter there is a new arrival in town – Betty, an adorable blue eyed pig, who is being illegally reared to ensure the local dignitaries can celebrate the Royal Wedding with a lavish banquet. However, the rest of the community has other ideas for Betty’s fate and hilarity ensues!

Based on Alan Bennett’s ‘A Private Function’ and with music from Stiles & Drewe (Mary Poppins, Half A Sixpence, The Wind In The Willows) Betty Blue Eyes is a hilarious comedy musical full of fantastic tunes and cheeky humour. This is one fantastic show not to be missed!
