Description of Event: ‘Legally Blonde the musical’ is coming to the region for the very first time and makes its premier at Hull New Theatre from 19th to 23rd June 2018. ‘ Legally Blonde the musical won The Laurence Olivier award for best new musical, when it opened in London.

The show has professional sets, costumes and musicians alongside the cream of local actors. Beverley Musical Theatre have been performing musicals at Hull New Theatre over the last 30 years and are delighted to be the first society in the area to present ‘Legally Blonde’.

The musical is based around Elle, a college fashion student who is ditched by her cad of a boyfriend but decided to follow him to Harvard law school to win him back. Her ups and downs, friendships and challenges culminate in a total reverse of fortune for Elle.

This is a lavish, lively, upbeat, bright, fun musical, with brilliant songs which will become instantly memorable, sung by a cast of 45 and played by professional musicians. The principals come from a variety of acting backgrounds, including professional actors, performing arts students and experienced musical theatre performers.

‘Legally Blonde’ is perfect for all ages, families, couples, office outings and an ideal way to start a Hen do.
