Separate Table by Terence Rattigan

Each act of this masterly work by Terence Rattigan is self contained and deals with guests at the Beauregard Hotel, Bournemouth.

In Table by the Window. Martin, a once-rising politician now turned to drink, and his ex-wife are cautiously searching reconciliation. The manageress, Miss Cooper, intervenes but will her ‘help’ prove useful?

In Table Number Seven. Major Pollock is concealing a defamatory newspaper report about his behaviour at a local cinema. An hysterical young woman takes his side and falls in love with him. Again Miss Cooper encourages them to face their uncertain futures.
